Description

Grow Op Farms, the leading I-502 producer by volume of top-shelf cannabis in the state of Washington is hiring a Bookkeeper for their Spokane Valley location. This role is responsible for computing, classifying and recording numerical data to keep financial records complete and accurate. This position's schedule is Monday-Friday, 7a-4p. and is eligible for affordable benefits which are offered within 90 days: medical, dental, vision, accident and life.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties/responsibilities of this job.  

  1. Records journal entry transactions at an inter-company and intra-company level
  2. Ensures data accuracy and conducts audits to maintain accurate and precise data.
  3. Ensures all data meets professional and regulatory standards
  4. Supports monthly closing procedures and attend accounting meetings.
  5. Reconciles accounts with general ledger and correct errors as necessary
  6. Reconciles intercompany general ledger accounts.
  7. Collects and files appropriate supporting documentation to prepare journal entries in line with GAAP
  8. Assists with Panda Solutions accounts payable and project financial tracking
  9. Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations
  10. Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned..
  11. Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

Job Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.  These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.  

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Education/Experience:  to perform this job successfully, an individual must have: 

  • 3 (three) year’s accounting experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered
  • Proficient in Google (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Experience with Quickbooks 
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented with the ability to multitask

Physical Abilities:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

  • Regularly sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull/push, carry up to 10 pounds, and grasp.
  • Frequently walk, reach, and taste, or smell.  
  • Occasionally climb, stoop/crouch, crawl,  carry up to 40 pounds, talk, or hear.
  • Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses

Workplace Environmental Conditions

While performing the essential duties/responsibilities of this job, the employee will be:

  • Noise Conditions: exposed during a shift to constant or intermittent moderate to loud noise levels.
