Salary Range:$14 per hour

Grow Op Farms, the leading I-502 producer by volume of top-shelf cannabis in the state of Washington is hiring a Administrative Assistant - Inventory position at their Spokane Valley location. This position is responsible for administrative duties related to inventory ordering and management.

This is a Full-Time positions in a high-volume, fast paced, production driven environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication as well as the ability to multi-task to stay on track.
Full-Time schedules consist of 40 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime to meet business needs. Affordable benefits offered within 90 days: medical, dental, vision, accident, and life

Job Summary

This position is responsible for administrative duties related to inventory ordering and management. Supports and adheres to company’s Standards of Conduct & Discipline.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Performs orientation for new hires which includes file creation, facility tours, communicating policies and procedures, assisting new hires with company electronic systems and applicable forms, and introducing safety standards
  2. Manages order requests through electronic system(s)
  3. Orders and manages employee recognition pins
  4. Orders supplies and manages inventory needs for company’s clerical and administrative needs
  5. Travels to vendors to obtain supplies
  6. Assists with maintaining employee files both paper and electronically, including filing, inputting employee data for onboarding and off boarding, benefit enrollment and employee information updates
  7. Assists the Office Manager in running payroll, including maintaining the time keeping system and reviewing employee timecards
  8. May assist with ordering supplies as needed by office team and management
  9. May assist with bookkeeping duties, including processing expense reports, accounts payable, and bank deposits
  10. May organize food and catering for company
  11. Assists with cost tracking on projects
  12. Runs errands and performs tasks as assigned by the Owners of Grow Op Farms
  13. Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned

Job Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.  These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job. 

Education/Experience to perform this job successfully, an individual must have: 

  • a High School Diploma or a General Education Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Driver License
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an office/administrative type of position
  • Proficient in Google (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Experience with payroll systems, including time keeping systems preferred
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented with the ability to multitask

Physical Abilities:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

  • Regularly sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull/push, carry up to 10 pounds, and grasp
  • Frequently walk, reach, and taste, or smell
  • Occasionally climb, stoop/crouch, crawl,  carry up to 50 pounds, talk, or hear
  • Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness)

Workplace Environmental Conditions

While performing the essential duties/responsibilities of this job, the employee will be:

  • Noise Conditions: exposed during a shift to constant or intermittent moderate to loud noise levels
  • Injury Exposure: occasionally exposed to workplace hazards or to potential injuries
  • Atmospheric Exposures: exposed to dusts, fumes, vapors, or mists that could affect the occupational health of the employee
  • Toxic Chemicals:  may be exposed to some toxic or caustic chemicals.
