Grow Op Farms, the leading I-502 producer by volume of top-shelf cannabis in the state of Washington is hiring a IT Assistant/Plant Tech for their Spokane Valley location.

This is a Full-Time position shared by two departments in a high-volume, fast paced production driven environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication as well as the ability to multi-task to stay on track. Part-Time schedules consist of less than 30 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime to meet business needs.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for troubleshooting and entry level work on the computer network of Grow Op Farms. Supports and adheres to company’s Standards of Conduct & Discipline.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

           IT Assistant:

  1. Troubleshoots printer issues
  2. Troubleshoots Network Connectivity issues
  3. Troubleshoots Computer Application issues
  4. Runs Network/Low Voltage Cable
  5. Terminates Cat 5e/6 Network Cable
  6. Assists in Camera adjustments
  7. Assists with any special projects, as needed.
  8. Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned
           Plant Tech
  1. Prunes cannabis plants
  2. Perform work on plants, including tucking and manipulation of plants
  3. Sanitizes and cleans grow facility
  4. Applies nutrients and other in-puts
  5. Sets up new grow rooms
  6. Harvests cannabis as needed
  7. Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned
  8. Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned

Job Qualifications: 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.  These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job. 

  • Must be 21 years old or older. 

Education/Experience:  to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

  • High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
  • Six (6) months of experience in IT support/network administration or equivalent experience preferred
  • General agriculture experience, Cannabis growing experience helpful but not required

Physical Abilities:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

  • Regularly walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time, pull/push, reach, carry up to 40 pounds, and grasp.
  • Frequently climb, talk, or hear.
  • Occasionally crawl.
  • Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness)
