Grow Op Farms, the leading I-502 producer by volume of top-shelf cannabis in the state of Washington is hiring for an IT Assistant for their Spokane Valley Location. When this role is not performing IT support, this position will assist in the Agriculture department. This is a full time position, again with time split between IT duties and caring for our plants. This role will have a set schedule and eligible for affordable benefits within 90 days: medical, dental, vision, life and accident.

Full time schedule consists of 40 hours per week, with the opportunity for overtime to meet business needs.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for troubleshooting and entry level work on the computer network of Grow Op Farms.  Supports and adheres to company’s Standards of Conduct & Discipline.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties/responsibilities of this job. 

  1. Troubleshoots printer issues
  2. Troubleshoots Network Connectivity issues
  3. Troubleshoots Computer Application issues
  4. Runs Network/Low Voltage Cable
  5. Terminates Cat 5e/6 Network Cable
  6. Assists in Camera adjustments
  7. Assists with any special projects, as needed.
  8. Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned

Job Qualifications: 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.  These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job. 

  • Must be 21 years old or older. 

Education/Experience:  to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

  • High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
  • Six (6) months of experience in IT support/network administration or equivalent experience preferred.

Physical Abilities:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

  • Regularly walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time, pull/push, reach, carry up to 40 pounds, and grasp.
  • Frequently climb, talk, or hear.
  • Occasionally crawl.
  • Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness)

Agriculture- Plant Technician job summary, duties and abilities- 

Job Summary
This position is responsible for the care and cultivation of cannabis plants from vegetative state to harvest along with other ag  Supports and adheres to company’s Standards of Conduct & Discipline

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Prunes cannabis plants.
  2. Perform work on plants, including tucking and manipulation of plants.
  3. Sanitizes and cleans grow facility.
  4. Applies nutrients and other in-puts. 
  5. Sets up new grow rooms.
  6. Harvests cannabis as needed.
  7. Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned.
  8. Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned

Job Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.  These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.  

  • Must be 21 years old or older

Education/Experience:  

  • a High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
  • General agriculture experience preferred
  • Cannabis growing experience helpful but not required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  

Physical Abilities:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

  • Regularly sit or stand for long periods (approx. 8 hours) of time doing repetitive tasks with hands including using hands to finger, handle or feel, walk, sit, twist, turn, pull/push, reach, climb, carry up to 50 pounds, talk, hear and grasp.
  • Occasionally climb, stoop/crouch, crawl, taste or smell
  • Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness)
