Title:Cannabis Oil Assembly Technician
Salary Range:$14.50 per hour
Grow Op Farms, the leading I-502 producer by volume of top-shelf cannabis in the state of Washington, is hiring an Oil Assembly Technician to join their Sticky Frog Processing Team at their Spokane Valley Location. This team specializes in cannabis concentrate packaging including products such as sugars, waxes, vape pens, pax pods, and infused pre-rolls. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available in a high-volume, fast paced, production driven environment. 
  • Part-time is a set schedule of less than 30 hours per week.
  • Full-time consists of 40 hours per week. Full Time employees are eligible for affordable benefits offered within 90 days: medical, dental, vision, life, and accident.
The ideal candidate is organized, good with direction and follow through, will have excellent verbal and written communication as well as the ability to multi-task to stay on track. Full-Time schedules consist of 40 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime to meet business needs.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the breakdown of bulk product into sellable units and the packaging of sold units. Supports and adheres to the company's Standards of Conduct & Discipline.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties/responsibilities of this job.  

  1. Weighs product on scale or machine accurately and to company standards.
  2. Weighs concentrates into 1g and .5g units.
  3. Fills vape cartridges by hand or by machine, packages, labels, and seals packages.
  4. Engraves, fills and labels PAX pods.
  5. Produces firecrackers, paint joints, coat with kief, tube, and seal.
  6. Makes kief using kief machine.
  7. Keep accurate tracking information on start and end times.
  8. Keep product properly labeled and in compliance.
  9. Trains new crew members and assists Leads when needed.
  10. Supports and adheres to company Standards of Conduct & Discipline.
  11. Maintains a clean and organized work space throughout the day and participates in end of shift cleaning tasks.
  12. Assists other departments as necessary or assigned.
  13. Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.  These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job. 

  • Must be 21 years old or older

Education/Experience:  to perform this job successfully, an individual must have: 

  • a High School Diploma or a General Education Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Trimming/plant experience helpful but not required.
  • Experience with computers and tracking software preferred.

Physical Abilities:  to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

  • Regularly sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull/push, carry up to 10 pounds, and grasp.
  • Frequently walk, reach, and taste, or smell.  
  • Occasionally climb, stoop/crouch, crawl, carry up to 25 pounds, talk, or hear.
  • Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness).
