Title:Information Desk Assistant
Salary Range:$14 per hour

Grow Op Farms, the leading I-502 producer in the state of Washington, is looking for an Information Desk Assistant to join their Spokane Valley location.

This is a Full-Time position in a high-volume, fast paced, production driven environment. The ideal candidate is organized, good with direction and follow through, will have excellent verbal and written communication as well as the ability to multi-task to stay on track. Full-Time schedules consist of 40 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime to meet business needs. Job Summary

This position is responsible for being the facility’s entry point of contact for daily functions of administrative support as well as disseminating information and/or materials to employees, vendors, customers and other visitors of the facility. Supports and adheres to the company's Standards of Conduct & Discipline.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Greets persons entering the establishment, determines nature and purpose of visit, and may direct them to specific destinations; contacts appropriate individuals for further direction
  2. Provides information and assists for the following:
    a. food and beverage machines in the break room(s)
    b. prospective candidates entering and exiting the facility
    c. sample pickup(s)/dropoff(s)
    d. facility materials/PPE equipment information to relay who they need to contact for a specific request
  3. Assists employees with locker key and  fob replacement, resets system access (payroll, email)
  4. Facilitates locker assignments and reassignment
  5. Performs administrative e.g. collecting company wide acknowledgements and/or signature sheets, makes copies of time off requests, order forms and other company forms for employees, laminates signs, creates badges for new hires, initiates and maintains company party sign-ups
  6. Assists with Panda Merch Orders
  7. Prepares lunch menu board and monitors lunch attendance
  8. Administers employee service and attaboy pins
  9. Maintains the conference room calendar
  10. Provides headcounts for samples
  11. Distributes paychecks to active employees unless otherwise directed
  12. Reviews policy, processes, and/or practices with employees as needed
  13. Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned

Job Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.  
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Education/Experience:  to perform this job successfully, an individual must have: 
  • High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience with  Microsoft Offices products (i.e. Word and Excel) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • 1 year of administrative experience preferred
Physical Abilities:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:
  • Frequently walk, reach, sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull/push, carry up to 25 pounds, and grasp; taste or smell
  • Occasionally climb, stoop/crouch, crawl, carry up to 50 pounds
  • Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness)

Workplace Environmental Conditions
While performing the essential duties/responsibilities of this job, the employee will be:
  • Noise Conditions: exposed during a shift to constant or intermittent moderate to loud noise levels
