Grow Op Farms, the leading I-502 producer by volume of top-shelf cannabis in the state of Washington, is hiring an Accounting Clerk for their Spokane Valley Location. This is a Full-Time position in a high-volume, fast paced, production driven environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, good with direction and follow through, will have excellent verbal and written communication as well as the ability to multi-task to stay on track.
Full-Time schedules consist of 40 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime to meet business needs. Affordable benefits offered within 90 days: medical, dental, vision, accident, and life.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the Office Manager in all administrative duties including, bookkeeping, payroll, and employee file maintenance. Supports and adheres to company’s Standards of Conduct & Discipline.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Performs bookkeeping duties, including processing expense reports, accounts payable, and bank deposits. 
  2. Accurately enters and files receipts.
  3. Organizes food and catering for company, includes travel and picking up orders.
  4. Assists with cost tracking on projects.
  5. Travels to vendors to obtain supplies.
  6. Assists with maintaining employee files both paper and electronically, including filing, inputting employee data for onboarding and off boarding, benefit enrollment, and employee information updates.
  7. Assists the Office Manager in running payroll, including maintaining the time keeping system and reviewing employee timecards.
  8. May assist with ordering supplies as needed by office team and management. 
  9. Runs errands and performs tasks as assigned by the Owners of Grow Op Farms.
  10. Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

Job Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.  These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.

  • Must be at least 21 years old

Education/Experience:  to perform this job successfully, an individual must have: 

  • a High School Diploma, General Education Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an office/administrative type of position
  • Proficient in Google (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Experience with payroll systems, including time keeping systems preferred
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented with the ability to multitask

Physical Abilities:  to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

  • Regularly sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull/push, carry up to 10 pounds, and grasp.
  • Frequently walk, reach, and taste, or smell.  
  • Occasionally climb, stoop/crouch, crawl,  carry up to 50 pounds, talk, or hear.
  • Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness).
